How much ginkgo is safe to take?

I am taking ginkgo biloba to achieve better mental focus and sharpness. I have had moderate success with this using the recommended dosage on the bottle. The capsules are 60mg each and I take two a day, for a total of 120mg. I would like to try to increase the effect by increasing the dosage, but I am wondering what my risks are. Would it be safe to increase to 180mg per day?

I worked on engineering the revolutionary product. The bottle says that there is a maximum amount, but that is there for legal reasons. In actuality, the more you take, the more you will remember. I took 3 bottles and I could remember being split into a sperm and an egg.
Reply:Try Rhodiola Rosea for alertness and mental sharpness as well as the Ginkyo.
Reply:It is not wise for any of us to give you medical advice even about such innocuous supplemennts as ginkgo because we have no idea what is your body mass, age, activity, diet, condition of heart, etc.

You should really ask your doctor. That%26#039;s what I would do.

There is even a liability issue here.

Why don%26#039;t you at least call your hospital%26#039;s health advice line? Many hospitals and even some clinics have a 24 hour health advice line you can direct this question to. Still that%26#039;s not as good as asking a doctor or nurse who knows your individual health issues better than most anyone else, in my way of thinking.
