Is it dangerous to plant ginkgo biloba close to a house wall?

Do their roots expand like eucalyptus%26#039; for example, and cause damage to walls and buildings?

Don%26#039;t plant any tree closer than the maximum expected spread of the crown.
Reply:They have huge fleshy roots that are very invasive. Plant well away of the foundation and not over or near sewage pipes.
Reply:You always want to plant a tree at least 6 feet from your house, for a variety of reasons.
