Ginseng 50mg

Ginkgo 60mg

I understand I must ask a doctor, but in general is it safe for a 14 year old to take these one a day vitamins.

Yes, I think it%26#039;s safe as long as used as directed/recommended.

Remember, it%26#039;s always the wrong/over dose that kills! So try not to abuse it.
Reply:with all the other stuff he%26#039;s PROBABLY taking at 14, or at least...what i know I wad taking at 14...i should think centrum performance should be on the safe side...
Reply:Yes it is generally safe for your 14 year old son to take this vitamin. Ginseng and ginkgo are both natural herbs.
Reply:yes
Reply:If it is not necessary I would advise against taking the supplements. If you are interested in having him take ginseng and ginkgo biloba, it might be better to ask the doctor for appropriate single supplements (i.e. just plain ginseng or ginkgo) without the additional vitamins and minerals he should be getting from fruits and vegetables. Ginseng is also very common in traditional chinese medicine so that is another route you can go in finding what the best way for your son to take these supplements.
Reply:If it%26#039;s FDA approved, then it%26#039;s ok- otherwise, it wouldnt be on the shelf. I think that ginseng and ginko are pretty ineffective either way.
